Computer crashed (Windows Vista). Backed up the .pst file in outlook and then reformatted the whole lappy.
After installation, made the mistake of importing the backed up .pst file into the microsoft outlook under "file" in the outlook program itself. This resulted in the whole pst folder items appearing in the main mailbox, which promptly went over the size limit, and a lot of time was spent deleting them.
Instead, what should have been done is to create a new personal folder and then link it to the location of the backup up .pst file.
